Elizabeth Vipond, CLU, CFP, CSA

Elizabeth Vipond has over 30 years of experience in health insurance. She founded The Vipond Associates a midsized insurance brokerage located in Tustin California in 1984. Prior to that she worked for Cigna Financial Services in Newport Beach, California. For over 20 years she has trained Human Resource professionals and other agents  in compliance and practical concerns regarding health plan operations and the law. She  has co-presented events with Fisher & Phillips a national labor law firm.  She sold the agency and moved to Florida. Becoming aware of the health care needs of an aging population she found her compliance background made her ideally suited to work with the nation's largest health plan:  Medicare.

Betsy is active in the Florida Association of Health Underwriters, the Tampa Bay chapter of the Association of Health Underwriters, the Nature Coast Human Resource Society and the Hernando  and Sarasota Counties Chamber of Commerce.
In July of 2008 she received an award from the Florida Association of Health Underwriters for Journalism and Public Speaking.
